Frequently Asked Questions

Who are Clinical Psychologists?
A Clinical Psychologist is a protected title for trained clinicians who can provide psychological support for a range of mental health difficulties; following many years of clinical training & accreditation with a professional body. They often use evidence based approaches, and are trained to keep up with the most up to date research and practices. In other settings, Clinical Psychologists can also provide research and leadership experience to clinical teams.
How long will psychological therapy last?
This can be different for every person, and can depend on your goals. This can be explored with you either in a free initial consultation, or after your first session. A plan will be suggested based on the clinician’s previous experience, what is suggested by national guidelines, and what you feel you are able to commit to. Regular reviews can take place to so we can explore together if more sessions are needed, or if we have met your goals.
When and how will my sessions take place?
All sessions take place online via Zoom. Currently I have availability on Monday’s, Tuesday's, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s.
How does payment work?
Sessions are charged at £110 per hour.
Payment will not be taken until after a free initial consultation - where a plan for sessions can be agreed, if you feel I am the right therapist for you. Payment can be made before each session, or for a block of sessions.

Payment is kindly requested 48 hours in advance of a session, otherwise it will need to be cancelled. I do my best to accommodate, however cancellations within 48 hours of the session will be charged at the full rate.
